If I can steal sentiment from the 90s… DUH! But I seriously want you to say that out loud. Come on; try it.

God is God. I am not God.

This can mean so many things. What does mean for you?

One thing is for certain, God is in control not you or me.

God is King. This is His Kingdom. It’s not a democracy. We have no vote or say so. What He says is what goes.

There when things don’t quite go the way I’d like for them to go, I must realize that God is God and I am not God. He is in control.

I can’t do it. He will do it.

I can’t handle it. He will handle it.

I can’t control him or her. I can hardly control me.

So release the pretentious propaganda poetically produced to “invict us”. You are not the master of your fate nor the captain of your soul. God is God.
