Do Everything As Unto the Lord

For the past several weeks at Manifestation Christian Center we exposed the devils tactics – how he uses distractions, distance and desperation. In John 10:10, Jesus exposes the devil’s strategy to steal, kill and destroy. His ultimate goal is death.

Today, Jesus is present to give us an alternative. We don’t have to choose death – we can choose life. And not just existing but having an abundance of life.

If we are distracted, our focus is off God.

If we are distant, we are disconnected from God.

If we are desperate, we are impatient while waiting on God

As a result, we put ourselves in a position of vulnerability to be attacked by the devil.

Therefore, EVERY DAY you must consciously focus on God, connect with God and wait on God. This can easily be accomplished…

Do everything as unto the Lord!

• Parent as if you were the father of baby Jesus

• Work as if Jesus were the CEO of your company

• Eat and exercise as if Jesus were your doctor

• Respect your husband as if you were married to Jesus

• Be a friend as if Jesus were your BFF

• Drive as if Jesus is in the passenger seat

Every day, in every way focus on God, connect with God and wait on God. Do all you do as if you were doing it for Him, to Him or with Him.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, Colossians 3:23
